The Barclays might already be back in full flow, but just a few weeks ago we had a chance to film Manchester City on their pre-season Asia Tour, and another football project means another Versus-inspired caption.
It’s not every day that the Treble-winners come to town, so we knew we had to make this a Karaoke session the Shibuya streets won’t forget. Time pressure with the talent but Pep’s not the only one who can coach a winning performance out of Bernardo Silva. New-boy Maxi Perrone’s first time singing in English, but cult hero Scott Carson made sure nothing got Lost in Translation. Call @ivanovvitya the new Haaland the way he was nailing shot after shot. On-site edit to get the video out the same day had @brendensavi glued to the monitor like he was on VAR duties. Art Directors @joevenning and @berniehitachi covering ground like prime Yaya Toure the way they had to set-design an entire floor of the building — even the corridor of uncertainty got the Astera treatment. Hearing the fans belt out Wonderwall dozens of times wasn’t music to this Arsenal-supporting Admin’s ears, but ultimately smiles all around meant this is one project where we won’t look back in anger.
